Reiki
The word Reiki is Japanese and means “universal life force”. The syllable “Rei” meaning universal, the syllable “ki” meaning vital energy or life force. It is a safe and natural power that is present in all living things.
The use of hands to channel life force energy is probably the oldest form of healing in the world and was used by the Tibetans thousands of years ago. It is not attached to any religion.
Receiving a treatment is different for everyone as the energies are drawn through the practitioners hands to where they are needed. A wonderful feeling of warmth and tingling can be experienced as the energies balance and harmonise the mind, body and spirit leaving a deep sense of peace and well-being. It can help relieve many conditions and can be combined safely with other treatments.
The treatment is carried out on a therapy couch or chair and you remain fully clothed.
